Welcome, to my photography site! I have had an interest in photography since college and got my first SLR film camera as a graduation gift. I started studying (from books) and fell in love with photography. When digital cameras came about, it took me a while to jump on the craze. Now, I love it. I've been shooting digital photography for about 14 years. I live at the shore of New Jersey and spend a lot of time taking landscapes at the beach. I love sharing my interest in photography with others--teaching people how to capture their memories. |

I have been fortunate enough to visit a couple of national parks, including Yosemite National Park and Acadia National Park--both were specifically for photography. I was awestruck by the beauty of Yosemite! My 5 day trip was not nearly long enough. I would jump at the chance to return. I've included some of the pictures that I was able to capture on my May 2017 trip on this site.
In September 2019, I had the opportunity to go on a photography trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It Is Beautiful!
Unlike, my Yosemite trip, I did not go with a photography group to Acadia. So, I had the freedom to visit & to do what I wanted.
I hiked and climbed cliffs & boulders, getting shots that I didn't think I would ever get! I had a blast.

So, I'm developing a travel bug. LOL I can't wait until I can go on another trip! In the meantime, I will continue to photograph in my local area. Besides beach scenes at sunrise and sunset, I enjoy trying to photograph birds and butterflies and have been dabbling in astrophotography. I like florals and going on nature walks to see what I can capture. Occasionally, you can even find me in a junk yard! Below, you'll find categories of images to view.
